tricomma
The
interval
formed of three
Pythagorean commas,
and thus having the
ratio
150094635296999121:144115188075855872
[= 2-57336 = 0.70 Semitones
= ~70.38003115 cents].
The Pythagorean tricomma is very close in size to
the 5-limit
"chromatic
semitone" with the
ratio 25:24
[= 2-33-152
= ~70.67242686 cents], the
difference forming the interval of a
monzisma.
